SBIRT Learning Community Webinar: Faith Integration in SBIRT: How to Teach Students to Effectively Work with Client's Spiritual Beliefs [Faculty/Staff Only]

Event Time: 3/24/2017 2:00:00 PM

Summary

This webinar featured two of our key faculty on faith integration, Drs. William Whitney and Curtis Lehmann, who led the discussion on the role of faith and spirituality in substance use intervention and how faculty and staff can help students bring faith and spirituality into the clinical setting. We have dedicated this webinar specifically to discussing this topic as a response to feedback from faculty and students desiring more information on faith and spirituality. This webinar is an excellent opportunity for any faculty or staff member who is interested in learning more about faith and spirituality in SBIRT, as well as how to communicate the role of faith and spirituality to your students. As with all of our learning community webinars, there will be time designated for faculty to ask questions about faith integration and discuss ways in which you have brought the topic of faith and spirituality into your classrooms.
